Indeed, the 8.4 million American households—some 7.6 percent of all U.S. households—with a net worth between $1 million and $10 million comprise one of the fastest growing demographics in the country.
These are the people that do the hard work. The work that takes brain and creates that extra bit of value – and yet, they don’t do anything that people with plenty of brains can’t do themselves. These aren’t the lucky ones, they are the hard-working ones. No lottery, no lucky shot, just good old hard work.
Nine in ten middle-middle-class and millionaire households agreed that “anyone can become a millionaire if he or she works hard enough.” But Middle-Class Millionaires said they worked an average of 70 hours per week, compared to only 41 hours per week for middle-middle-class people. The millionaires were also more persistent in the face of failure.
You can’t the even envy them – they’re just working harder than you and they are more clever. They are not the ones that make 150 million a year – they make maybe 250k, 500k – even a bit more if it’s a good year. And they’re well worth their money.
